Happy Birthday!

Today we got to celebrate my daddy's 47th birthday! We met him at his favorite restaurant were they have the yummy peanuts and rolls to eat before your dinner! The restaurant even paid for his dinner and dessert since he eats there at least twice a week. The staff sang to him and then my dad started up a peanut throwing war at our table. We barely escaped!!! Then headed over to my parent's house where my dad opened up his gifts. We got him a red OSU polo and a coin holder.

After opening all of his gifts, he said he was a little disappointed that he didn't get any Legos (The man is a little obbsessed with Legos. He even has his own room devoted his little plastic pieces. And no one is allowed to play with them since they have to be just so.)...but he knows that if he wants a new Lego set, he needs to let everyone know which one. It's just to hard to buy them for him since we all don't know what he already has! Ahhh, gotta love him!

Happy Birthday dad!!!

Well my dad got married early, and I got married early as well (I was 18 and right out of high school). My hubby and I even waited a few years before trying for a little one!

A man after my own heart! I love legos too! Does he have the small ones from the 1960's and 1970's where you could actually build your dream home? I have all of those put away until the boys are old enough.

I can't wait until I can get them out again!

I guess there are more Legos lovers out there than I thought!

Btw DW, my dad has some pretty old ones, but I'm not sure how old. I do know that he keeps ALL the boxes!
