Tired
I don't know what is up with me. I'm tired all the time. Last night I was in bed before 11 (which is quite an accomplishment for me!), I got up around 6:30, but was exhausted by 8am. I rested on the couch for most of the morning while oldest boys played right next to me. Then I took an afternoon nap while the boys were napping. After all that, I'm still tired. And it's not like I ever sleep too much during the day since I'm still sleepy after no naps. So I'm not sure what to do. Do I go to bed even sooner? Do I limit my napping/resting to an hour a day? Do I hibernate for the rest of the winter?
Btw, after yesterdays comments, it sounds like I'm not alone...that most women to the same thing I do. We love to move around furniture! I don't feel so alone now, thank you!!!

You have to nap test the couches in their new locations!

I read somewhere authoritative that if you miss sleep, do not nap. Just go to bed at your regular time the next night, otherwise your sleep patterns get all screwed up.

My advice. Excercise. I hate even uttering that word, but a 10 minute walk can really recharge my batteries.

I don't care what time I go to bed..if I have to be up by 6:30, I would be through! But I think that is the pregnancy speaking.

could you be expecting???
if you need a nap, your body is telling you you're tired, but you're too busy to listen. you might still be catching up after the holidays, i say pull up a pillow and get some rest.

I'm not a lurker, do I get to post anyway?
If the tiredness keeps up, there's no harm in getting your blood checked. I had wicked high TSH after Tiernan was born, which meant my thyroid was hardly functioning. I just assumed I was tired all the time because I had four kids!
Anyway, it's just something to keep in the back of your head in case you need it later :-)
