American Idol

Are any of you AI fans? I def am, but I'm starting to re-think it. This week there will be 5 hours of AI! To me, that's just insane!!! I spent two hours watching it last night, and while it was entertaining, I felt that there were so many other things I could have spent my time on. Come on now, two hours is a long time!

Things I could have done instead:
-Wash my hair 8 times
-Clean out the litter box 24 times
-Go to the bathroom 180 times
-Color my hair twice
-Change 80 diapers
-Watch my Tae-Bo tape 6 times
-Post on my blog 4 times
-Fold 360 towels
-Brush my teeth 60 times
-Clean 20 toilets
- Take 3 long cat naps

See, I wasted so much time watching AI! But what will I be doing tonight? Watching two more hours of AI...ahhhh, such is life.

But, do you *need* to go to the bathroom 180 times?

The way I see it, Idol is a much better way to waste two hours!

Who are your top 3 favorite girls after last night?

I loved the first contestant, Mandisa! She was excellent!!! I also liked Paris. Her flippy hair was so cute and she sounded great! Ummm, I think bad girl Brenna was good as well.

I'd have to say that opera singing Stevie is def going home though! She was terrible!!!

My time for TV is only after 10 or 11 pm. The whole day my hours are spent taking care of my grandson, cooking meals for the family and many others.
You didn't waste your time at all. 2 hours is just enough to get a break from everything.

I watched, AI, did laundry and checked my email at the same time. Though I agree, two hours is too long. They could easily do it in one.

I liked the last girl, but I can't remember her name. And I liked Paris, too.

Yeah, even with 2 hours last night, they could have had the girls the first hour and the guys the second hour. They have WAY too many commercials during that show.

So they decide to spread it across 3 evenings! Sheesh! But, I also will be watching it nonetheless!

You're a woman so multi-tasking shouldn't be an issue. You can fold towels, blog, change diapers AND watch American Idol!

I watched some of it tonight. I liked the guy who sang the Otis Redding song. Loved him. I about shot Simon when he said he didn't like his smile. But, Simon brings in the ratings. We love to hate him.

btw, I personally like AI better in the first round. Some of those people singing crack me up!

Mandisa did very well. I think she will make it to the finals. I share the same feelings as Friday's Child... watching tv for two hours serves as your break.
