Thursday's Lovely Thirteen

Thirteen things about Trinity13's life.

1. I'm 13 weeks prego this week!
2. And I'll be in my second trimester next week!!!
3. Hopefully, our complex's pool will be open next week as well!
4. My hubby has been power washing it for a few days now.
5. I can't wait till I get to swim in the cool water!
6. The boys and I will probably live at the pool this summer.
7. It's a good thing they all like water!
8. I should prob invest in sunblock.
9. I'll be using a ton of it since I burn very easily.
10. I even burn when I use a tanning bed!
11. Maybe I'll get myself and the boys umbrella hats to keep the sun out of our eyes! :-)
12. Then again, we could just stay inside with the AC this summer!!!
13. How do you plan on beating the heat this summer?

Wow, 13 weeks already! Is the morning sickness starting to subside? Mine usually stuck around until 18 weeks or so.

I will be staying in my air conditioning as much as possible. We'll set up our little 3' deep pool and have some fun in that, too. But only in the evening when the sun isn't directly overhead turning us all into toast.

I don't plan on beating the heat! I love summer! I'd rather have it hot than cold. Plus, I'm going to Egypt, where we're expecting 110 degrees. Whew. OK, maybe some air conditioning will be nice there.

Congratulations in advance on your new little addition! I love the summer, except when it is terribly hot and humid. My hubby would live in a pool if he could, I have lots to keep me busy in an air conditioned house :)

The first trimester of pregnancy is the most sensitive period so please do take care of yourself.

I have been staying in an airconditioned office and bedroom since summer started here last March.

Your pregnancy is in the stage where anything can happen. Please do take care. For me, I wouldn't suggest going swimming in this period. You're prone to infection.

Thanks Tracy! I'll have to think about posting belly pics! :-)

Ahhh, sorry Day! Heehee!!!

I love being warm Carmen, but I'm worried about being prego in the heat! Hello pool, here I come!!!

Thanks Denise!!!

I will def be enjoying the baby Joan...in fact, I'm enjoying it right now!

I know Lo, I can't wait to find out!!! I want to shop! (Btw, does phase 2 pool have a baby area/pool?)

Thanks for stoppin Skittles!

I love the pool Pink!!! But we'll see how hard it is for me to get to it since I take care of three boys, four and under.

Sending prego wishes your way Sonya!

Awww, thanks Feathers! I hate the heat as well, so if I had a pool in the backyard, I'd live there as well!!! :-)

I'm def trying Viamarie...thanks!

I have actually not found anything about possible infections you can get at the pool FC. Doctors even say that rivers, oceans, and lakes are okay to swim in. It's great exercise for a pregnant woman!

Thanks Wystful1...and this will be my second little one. I have a four year old who can't wait to be a big brother!

I wish I could tan Master...but I'll have to leave that up to my son.

Thanks for stopping by Attila!

We are actually going to the beach in September Jackie...I can't wait!!!

Thanks Kelly...we actually have two pools here in our complex!!! So I have decide which one to go to!

I get very crabby when I'm hot, so I avoid it whenever possible. We're lucky to have the mountains nearby, so when things get bad here we can zip up to altitude and sometimes even play in the snow!

Take care of yourself :-) Thanks for stopping by!

If you HAVE a pool, I do NOT recommend sitting in the AC to stay cool! I definately vote for the pool! And that is usually how I beat the heat too -- though I don't have my own pool. I also spend time at the beach!

Thanks for stopping by my 13!

Congratulations. Hope pregnancy over the summer isn't too tough.

We've just finished our summer. Or, where I live, wet season. It never gets cold here. I tried lots of swimming - tried to keep power consumption down by not using the a/c too often in my home.

I'm not totally convinced we'll get a summer in the UK this year. It's almost the end of April and it's ouring down with rain. The temperatures are on the cool side too. No sunblock for us but an umberella might be a good investment!
