I just got back from shopping. Just picked up a Christmas ornament for my mother.
Now, that's how it should be done;)
Happy shopping. Hope you get something you really really like a lot. Happy New Year.
SHOPPING!!!!! My most favorite pasttime ever! I love, love, love shopping... especially when I have money to splurge, hehehe. Need new black loafers badly...
Enjoy!!
You're in the right track. After all that buying for others, you deserve to spend all the remaining budget on you.
Happy shopping!!
Have a wonderful New Year, Trin!
Gotta love shoppin! Thanks for stopping by everyone!!!

I hear you about the tree!
Let me know how much the bid is up to.
Another time machine? What happened to the first one?
Trying to Catch Up: Thursday Thirteen
It sounds like you are ready for the Holiday to be over...I guess that is true for many of us, isn't it? Good for you that you can be on the couch and blog!!!
Here from Michele tonight!
Trinity, if you find that time machine - buy one for me too, will ya?
Michele sent me. Enjoy that new laptop!

Well, Michele sent me right back again! (lol) That's whats so mucg fun about this Meet & Greet..we get to vosit MANY MANY TIMES!! Hooray!
And let me wish you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I too am dreaming of having a laptop. What I got as an early Christmas gift was a cd burner. Now I am enjoying my new hobby...downloading music and burning them for my collection.
Happy New Year to All!
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa. Davin's Grandma went through a lot of that, it's so hard to watch.
Let me know if you find a time machine, I need one, too!
Hi! Just got back from out of town. Will have to check out your previous posts since I have no idea how you are blogging on the couch and what happened to your finger! I'm sorry about your grandpa :(
I'm still looking for my tag! Hee hee.
The problem isn't finding a time machine, but rather assembling it and finding the right batteries. The ability to read the alien language the manual is printed in is also somewhat helpful.
Will do Day!
I was outbid Barbara. :-(
I love couch bloggin OOLOTH!
Will do Kenju!!!
I will enjoy Kontan, thanks!
Thanks OOLOTH.
My hubby like to download music too Viamarie!
It is hard to watch, thanks Jen.
Hope you had a good time with your trip MC. Thanks for stoppin!
HA...very funny Arm!
So true Stranger! I'll have to look for batteries on ebay as well...thanks for the heads up!
That's a pretty good idea - two memes in one!
Okay, I'm sittin here on my couch blogging on my new laptop! I feel so free! I am no longer tied down to the computer in the basement. I can surf on the couch, in bed, or even in the bathroom! I'm lovin it!!!
I'm so very glad you are enjoying your gift sweetheart! Isn't that freedom wonderful?
Cool comment code.
Oh yes honey!!! Thanks again for the gift!
That was a lot of celebration hopping. I had a splendid time too with my family on Christmas Eve and the in-laws of my daughter on Christmas day. I did not mind all the preparations becuase I love making everyone happy. What I really enjoyed was watching my grand nephew who is 1 year and 5 months old in his santa costume. He would clap his hands and shout with joy everytime someone would open a gift. But I also felt sad that night because my daddy was not with us although I know in spirit he was.
It wouldn't be fare for you not to tell us how to do that....Please!!! I'm beggin on my knees!
It is a little bit of a complicated mixture of Javascript and the Blogger-specific server side tags.
But, I would gladly do it for anyone who wanted me to.
Right now, Trinity has custom comment expressions for all values 0-7 comments and then the 8th comment and above gets the standard comment.
If you want it done for you, you just need to get me a copy of your template and the text of what you want it to say for each number of comments.
My email is guru7777 and that is at the most excellent gmail.
If you send me an email with the template attached and your custom comments, I will get it back to you as soon as possible.
Aww, I'm sorry about your dad Viamarie. We to didn't have my mil with us in our celebrations.
Silly PJ, click on the link to see who the computer guru is!!!
Check out Guru's comment Day!
How much are ya chargin Guru...heehee!!!! Thanks again!
He'll do it all for ya PJ, but you have to let him mess with your template for a bit. And ya would need to think of what your new commments would say...that's all!
Maybe Armaedes! Why, you need me to babysit you overnight sometime?! Heehee!!!
You must be in heaven with your new gift. I would never get off if I had a treasure like that. Enjoy!
My dad does that some times. He even surfs from the back porch occasionally. Sometimes, I wish I had a laptop too.
Hi Trinity! I'm loving your comments codes! Was considering taking up Guru's offer, but to have to send the template for tweaking and stuff just seems a little too complicated. hehe.
Anyways, glad you're enjoying your new gift -- i know I would if i got that for Christmas :-P
Happy New Year!
It's so hard to get off Revswife! I know I should be going to bed, but I just can't seem to detach myself from my laptop.
You should get on War Eagle. My hubby got this one pretty cheap at Best Buy!
Thanks Chrixean! Happy New Year to you too!!!
I may have to use your guru too!
Go for it MC!
(Warning: This post is a little long since I haven't been online in a few days...read at your own risk! Heehee!!!)
I can't say yet, but it's made of wood, and You know what it is! Thanks Honey!!
my sweet boy! he is the best gift EVER!
oh, other than that, i really like my new kitchen towels. :)
wooo! I made it through that post. I keep on reading and reading and reading.....But finally made it to the end! I think that a lone was a great accomplishemnt!
Glad to hear you are have a great celebration. (except for the boxers, used and from an old person...yuck!)
Sounds like a great holiday! My favorite memory this year was when my oldest son opened up a package of four books he's been wanting. He was so excited! And I love books, so I always get a warm glow whenever he gets excited about them, too!
Quite truthfully my favorite memory was the kids' faces lighting up on Christmas morning, and spending time with family and friends was/is the most wonderful gift. Huggs...have a super Christmas holiday and even better 2006!
Yikes! At least you were bleeding on the dirty dishes! ;) When I didn't have health insurance, there were a few times I sliced myself up pretty good, and didn't want to pay to get it fixed (I know you're not going in because you don't have time, I think I'm just telling too much backstory.) Anyway, I used those butterfly strips and they were always just fine.
It sounds like (other than that) you've been having a lot of fun!
I've had a lot of fun this year with Christmas, and I've been working on some projects of my own since DH is home this week. I'll post pictures tomorrow...
I actually like my son's computer games best!
let's see...Christmas was so different for us. We are so far away from any family so we had no family get togethers whatsoever. Really missed it. We hosted an open house for our church the week before Christmas, and then put off a Christmas eve service and then a Christmas morning brunch/worship service.
Since then we've been alone and relaxing. It has been good for us. We haven't been so preoccupied with work and the computer or housework. we've played lots of games, went for family walks and read. It has been good. A peaceful, Christmas.
Bonus...I got a new pair of boots that I really wanted but would never put the money out on myself. yay! They are fur and funky and I can't wait to get some snow so I can wear 'em!
Happy new year!
Ha, ha G!!!
Awww, how sweet Amanda Sue!
I just had a lot of info to share Day...heehee! Thanks for reading the whole thing!
It was PJ...thanks! And I might have to just take a pic of the tree. I'm ready for it to go bye-bye!
My son loves book too Jana! He just loves to have us read to him.
Thanks Shelley...you to!
But I cut it on a dirty knife Jen! Yuck!!! Oh, I can't wait to see pics!
I didn't like the movie either Armaedes, but I had to have it since I love the original.
Thanks for stoppin by Barbara!!!
I'm glad you got to have some relaxing time Leslie...that's always nice! I've tried to have as little stress as possible this year. Btw, yeah for new boots!!! I want some...heehee!
Oh, you poor baby! I'm sorry about the gash in your thumb. At least the rest of the time sounded awesome.
Best: the look on my boys faces opening gifts.
Worst: go see my blog about Christmas dinner.
Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day with your family! We spent last night with my parents (I'll go into all the present details later), and today we are having C-mas with my hubby's side! Then we are off to my grandparents house for yet another C-mas gathering. So, I hope to back online sometime late tonight, or it might just have to wait till Monday morning. But, since we have another C-mas that night (that I am hosting), I might just be too busy cleaning and setting things up to blog. I could be back online Tuesday, but I have the red-heads that day and one last C-mas get together that night (at my house again)!
From our home to yours, we wish you the merriest and most joyful holiday ever. And may the blessing of Christmas bring hope, love & joy to each day of your new year.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas Trin!
Wish you the best of Christmas ever. How I wish I could also have that kind of Christmas....2 families to go to during Christmas. I only have 1 which is on my side. My hubby"s side have already past away even before I met him.
I'm happy for you to be able to see your hubby's side.
Merry Christmas, Trinity. I should have my Christmas post up this evening or tommorow.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
We wish you a Merry Christmas! We wish you a Merry Christmas! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Will be checking back for the MEME! Hee hee!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas! I hope you have the best New Year Ever!
Thank you every one for the Christmas wishes!!!
I hope you had a merry christmas! Best wishes and we will "see" you in the new year"
Stolen from Jana!!! Thanks!
Great answers there for Christmas. I'm not fond of snow, as I always fall over.
Have a super Christmas, Trin!

Merry Christmas, Trinity!
Woohoo, snow days :-)
This is a cool meme! I love it that you can actually enjoy a white Christmas. Our Christmas seasons are usually spent either in a mall or at a beach :) The shopping here is great! You should try visiting, at least to try out the shopping during the Christmas season. It's maddening! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Thanks Capt!
I love that movie Day!!!
I'm gettin to it MC!
HA Lo...too funny!
Gotta love snow days Jen!
A Christmas at the beach Chrixean...nice!!!
I'm tired tonight, so here's a quiz for ya!
Your Brain's Pattern |
Structured and organized, you have a knack for thinking clearly. You are very logical - and you don't let your thoughts get polluted with emotions. And while your thoughts are pretty serious, they're anything from boring. It's minds like yours that have built the great cities of the world! |
Here's mine:
You have a tempered, reasonable way of thinking.
You tend to take every new idea in, and meld it with your world view.
For you, everything is always changing. Each moment is different.
Your thinking process tends to be very natural - with no beginnings or endings.
That's fun! Thanks for showing it to me.
via michele...
Seven layer bars are the ones I usually make, but this year I have been making fudge to give everyone. It is incredibly simple.
Michele sent me.
It makes my mouth water already. Though have not savored it, looks like it tastes delicious.
Your brain is always looking for the connections in life.
You always amaze your friends by figuring out things first.
You're also good at connecting people - and often play match maker.
You see the world in fluid, flexible terms. Nothing is black or white.
0ddly accurate.
visiting from michele's extended holiday meet and greet!
I will attempt to replicate these on my lunchbreak.
Did you notice that the date on this post is Dec 31st? Are you sticky posting it on purpose, or was that an accident?
I posted my brain quiz results.
All the goodies look, and taste, deeeeelicious honey!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
No prob Marcia...thanks for stoppin!
Hmmmmm, fudge!!! Peanut butter is my fav kenju!
I too love crinkles Plumkrazzee, I just wish they weren't so hard to bake!
It was delicious Friday's Child!
Glad it was accurate for you Dak-ind! It was for me!!!
Wonderful Capt Berk!
Hmmmm, I wonder why Armaedes?!
It was an accident Guru...really!
Trin's in the real world right now PJ...come back later! Heehee!!!
Thanks G!
You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy.
You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts.
People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused.
But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination.
Pretty good for a fantasy writer, eh?
Nice MC! Perfect for you!!!
For the past few weeks we've had the laptop and the computer side by side here on our large computer desk. It has def helped solve the computer sharing problem that my hubby and I had not to long ago. We are able to surf and post side by side!
It's amazing what those little fingers can do isn't it? I used to laugh about the fact that I didn't want my little girl taking drinks without lids out of the kitchen but I'd let her play on the expensive computer. Seems kinda backward doesn't it?
Worry not. Be happy yes. It's amazing to know that a 3 year old can be keen with computers. That's not common.
I wouldn't be worried. I have software that my oldest used when she was three and the younger one started emulating Daddy and Sissy when she was two and by her third birthday, she was a champ with it.
I say the earlier you get them started, the better.
since your son is on the computer, i reqest a guest posting from him on your blog. ;-)
Nickjr.com has some great simple games for tots to play. They basically just need to clck and move stuff. My kids loved it at that age. (Still do, but they're too cool to admit it.)
and, btw, Trin..your link pyramid is getting a little sloppy. Now I know it's almost Christmas and you're busy and all, but please straighten that out ASAP. (That pyramid is the coolest thing on the web.)
I think he has great potential. He'll be able to fix all your computer problems
Sounds like a Steve Forbes in the making!!
Or is that Steve Jobs??
Yes is does OGO...sounds like my house! Heehee!!!
It's going to get more and more common as time passes Friday. Soon our children will be surfing the internet before they are able to walk! HA!!!
You think so Guru?! I guess I don't see the harm.
I'll see what I can do Bagofnothing!
Wow Texas! Are you kids in public school?
Nick Jr is great Fof3! And btw, my links are now through blogrolling.com, so it's their mess up. I set it up to be shortest to longest, but they go by number of letters and not by actual length. Sorry! :-(
Gotta love it PJ!!!
Don't I know it Capt!
Too funny Mrsg! Thanks for stoppin by!!!
Oops, messed up the link for ya Fof3...here ya go: blogrolling.com
My family had a great time this weekend. Like I mentioned, we headed to West Virginia right after Sunday church. We stopped to have some lunch, but got to Oglebay around 3. We checked into our room and I was worried about where my son would sleep. I forget to get his sleeping bag since our room was supposed to just have one queen size bed. I was hoping the room would have a couch for him to sleep on, but as we walked in, I was surprised to see 2 queen sized beds in the room! I was so very happy!!!
Praise God for sparing your grandpa from surgery! At least it gave your family a chance to visit and have a break.
Just saying hi! Michelle sent me

How cool that your room number was on the sign. I am so glad that your grandpa didn't have to have surgery.
I glad to hear things aren't as bad as they thought for your grandpa.
I also love the tunnel. I wish I could go there. My husbands Grandma lives in Charleston West Virginia. I was only there once. She is 94.
That kid got to sit in Santa's chair?!? Luuuuuucky.
Your boy was in Santa's chair? Where had Santa gone to? Was he on a lunch break, and so your boy was standing in?
Hey cool, he got a taste of what it was to be Santa. Did he suddenly feel the power surge through him? hehehe.
Glad to hear your grandpa is getting better. I'm off to our family vacation now, too -- to the beach! Be back on Christmas Eve :-) Bye!
We were actually able to visit him tonight Viamarie!
I should be working on something soon Matt.
Thanks TC!
Awww, too bad Armaedes!!!
Very cool tunnel Day! You should def try to get there sometime.
Wasn't he Fof3?! Heehee!!!
Santa came out later that night (I think) Capt. While he was gone during the day, kids were able to get in his chair for pics...cool, huh?!
Oh yes, power surge Chrixean! Heehee!!!
Thanks Ivy and PJ...we did have a wonderful time!
That looks like so much fun. I love the light displays. Yeah for mini vacays!
Today the family is off to West Virginia! Once there, we are going to see the Festival of Lights at Oglebay Park. My son just loves Christmas lights, so my hubby and I hope he has a great time tonight seeing over one million lights! We have actually gone before, but that was before my son was born. If he ends up liking it tonight, it might just have to be a yearly tradition for us!
cant wait to hear about your trip! praying 4 your g-pa. (typing w/ 1 hand!)
Will definitely pray for him. I miss my grandpa dearly, especially this Christmas season. Grandpas are just the best!
God bless!
Have a safe and fun trip! I'm saying a prayer for your grandpa.
Hope you have an awesome time. What fun!
Already said a prayer for your family--especially grandpa.
Merry Christmas my friend.
I will say a prayer for your grandfather. Have a good trip!
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfathers accident. I'll say a prayer for him and one for your travels.
Sorry about your grandfather, hope you enjoyed the lights, here from Michele's.
Somehow I deleted my previous comment....Hi Trinity - My husband and I are praying for your grandpa tonight all the way from Northern Canada!
I know how it is to have all this going on, we went through it in the summer.
Thanks for your well wishes and prayers (and candle lighting! Heehee) everyone...they are all very much appreciated!!!
(I found this on Captain Picard's site, so I had to include him in my letter!)
I tried the Santa post earlier on, but it wasn't working. Looked like fun, though.
Michele sent me.
Damn, that's funny!
that was pretty good, im off to try my own! michele sent me!
hi trinity! did that one last night at captain's place too. actually asked him if i could steal it to post in mine - hehehe!
here via michele. :)
I only have one more day left with the boys!!! I can't wait till 5:30 tonight! I'll be off till Dec 27th (if you don't include watching the autistic boy).
A short vacation is good idea around now....Christmas can be a bit stressful!
BTW, from Michele's
Apart from collapsing in a heap from sheer exchaustion I will be going to a "ballet" end of year Christmas party with my four year old.
I have been non stop alllllll week.
Michele sent me tonight.
I grew up in WV and I always wanted to go to Oglebay. Hope you have a great time.
Michele sent me.
I'm hoping to recover from this flu that has hit me like a ton of bricks this week! Not the way I planned on spending the weekend! Too much to do! Have fun on your mini vacation!!
Here via Michele's!
Sigh....wish I had. i'll be busy working. I have a bazaar booth where we're selling shirts and stuff for Christmas buyers so looks like a vacation is out this weekend...
Anyways, nice lodge you'll be at! Here from Michele's!
i wish i can be in your shoes. to get away from everything for a little bit would be fantastic
Have fun. West Virgina is a beautiful state. Hope there isn't too much snow.

Oooh! you are heading out for my old stomping grounds. Have fun! I'm staying home for the holidays. But home is New York City and it's fun here ALL the time! Michele sent me. Have a great vacation.
Last Girl On Earth
We're going to have a quiet weekend home with the kids. It's been snowing non-stop for days, so we're going to go outside and enjoy the season.
These are the moments that matter most.
Have a wonderful - and safe - trip.
Yes it can be Sally!
Get yourself a nap Wendywings!!!
You should try to get there sometime Kenju...it's a lot of fun!
Get well soon Yellowrose!
I hope you make a lot of money Chrixean!
It is PJ!!! Have a great holiday party!

Have you been to Oglebay Last Girl on Earth?
Have fun in the snow Carmi!!!

|
Same here with the Christmas cards. Ours are all sealed and addressed and ready to go, just waiting for payday (tomorrow) to get stamps! Stupid money! Why can't it just grow on trees?
now that we do everything on line, i never even write cheques anymore, it's great!!!
and i love your exclamations over here, it gets me all excited too!!!
i'm playing this week, but you already knew that, thanks!!!
i wonder what's the age when pimples appear no more?
I have 'The Village' DVD. The movie was always a surprise when I first saw it.
When's the last time you had to buy stamps Lo?
Walk the Line was the best, huh PJ!!! Such great music!
Exclamation marks are wonderful BSTS!!!!!
Yes PJ, thanks girl! You did a fabulous job!
It should be when you turn 20 Bag of Nothing! It should only be a teenager thing!!!
Such a great movie, huh Capt!!!
I can't wait to see Walk the line. I love "The Village"! I never use stamps anymore either.
Today was my last day with the two year old this year. His mom is going in tomorrow for her scheduled C-sec. She's expecting a little girl which means I be watching a girl in my home once again. A year and a half ago I watched a 4 year old little girl and her brother (along with my regular crowd). I pretty much only had her for the summer, so it will be nice to once again have another girl in the house. I have to make sure that there are plenty of girly things for her to play with (when the time comes). I know my nieces have a good time playing over here with the toys I have, but I don't have them several days a week for 8 hours a day!
Enjoy it Honey!! It's has been a very long time, and you deserve a break. Too bad it's not at the same time as my vacation.
Have a great break!!! I think many of us are just hanging on until next weekend! Have a super day!
Enjoy your well deserved vacation... but you'll stil be doing the blogitation thing, right?!?
Have a great vacation! :-D
Have a great time and enjoy it, you deserve it.
i can't wait for my kids to be done school, no early mornings, no lunches, YAHOO!!!
yay for vacation!
hey - i could probably read old posts and figure this out, but what exactly do you do with the autistic boy? are you a special eduation teacher?
It was supposed to be, but they changed it on the dad G.
Oh course Fof3!!!
Thanks Shelley, PJ, Jen, and TC!
Have a great vaca as well Texas and BSTS!!!
I am just a home care provider for the autistic boy Amanda Sue. I go into his home (two mornings a week...someone covers the other mornings) and help him get ready for school. I pack his lunch, dress him, do a few activities with him, and then I load him up in the school transportation car. Some mornings are easy, and some mornings he can be pretty bad (and violent). Each day is different.
A much deserved vacation it will be! Are you settled into your new home?
Sounds like fun! Don't worry too much about girly stuff. She'll be so excited by all the 'new' boy toys that she'll be begging her mom for Thomas Trains and racing cars next!
Thanks DW! And we are def settled into our new place! I still need to decorate a little, but besides that, we are done!!!
I hope so MC! :-)
Well I def got my exercise for the day. I had my four boys from 7:30-5:15, and then my boy and I headed over to my mom's hair shop to clean. I worked for about 3 hours and then we went home. After getting home, the three of us bundled up and loaded up into the car. Then my hubby and I spent the next hour dropping of C-mas notices to all the apartments on our side of the street (phases 2 and 3). My hubby doesn't have to do this very often, but it comes with the resident manager job. I think it's def worth the time and energy put into passing out notices to get our rent cut down by about 60%!
I actually do like the smell of bleach. I love when we do a load of towels and bleach them. I just love to smell them when I am getting out of the shower.
Bleach and Puke make an interesting cocktail on the planet Skiffffgut13c.
That's because they taste different there, like Vodka and Martini respectively.
But for gods sake don't go out drinking if you visit.
You will get a nasty shock!
I hear you. I just cleaned my bathroom and the cleaning smell is overwhelming since I can't open windows.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, bleach.
There's nothing wrong with a little bleach!
i love the smell of bleach, so clean. i love mr. clean too, can't mistake that smell either.
Sleep well tonight!
Clean towels is one thing Guru, but hands smelling like bleach is another! Yuck!!!
I do what I can Armaedes!
I'll be sure to remember that Capt Berk.
I just hate the smell Day!
Heehee Bag of Nothing!!!
But my hands smelled ALOT (not a little) like bleach Capt.
I love cleaning smells as well BSTS, just not on my hands.
Thanks Jen!
I got this from Better Safe Than Sorry...I'm supposed to list five things about me that you probably don't know. So, here goes!!!
Hi there!
Ouch to the eye-punching! And to think that now people get laser surgery so that they DON'T have to wear glasses! LOL.
Michele sent me this evening...
I went through the same 'glasses' phase.
The words "parents" and "glasses" somehow reminded me of my childhood, when our parakeet would sit on my father's glasses while my father was reading the newspaper. The parakeet would lean way over and chew on the top of the paper while my dad read!
#4 - same here, except it was actually the next morning. We were just too tired.
awww... you waited to chica chica wa wa.... how sweet!!!
i'm kind of like that with the driving thing, i think my vision isn't quite right, i don't have a proper sense of how close i am, but so far, knock wood, haven't hit anything.
I hated my glasses and would break them on purpose so I wouldn't have to wear them. It wasn't until I was in my thirties that an eye doctor really explained the reason why I had to wear them.
I got glasses when I was three. I used to hate them, I buried them in the sandbox, lost them in the schoolyard and all kinds of stuff to cause my parents worry.
I'd love to have my hubby get that surgery Marie!
Don't we all BoN?!
Too funny Arm!!!
What a nice memory Candace.
Huh, too bad Puremood...heehee!
Good...I'm not the only one Jana!
Isn't it Joo?! A little too sweet?!
I'm glad you haven't hit anything either BSTS! It's def not fun!!!
I would have gotten in big trouble if I broke my glasses Day.
I can't even imagine having glasses so young TC!
So true Becky.
Good grief, why am I soooo hungry right now. I mean it's 1:45am and my stomach is growling. I had dinner around 7pm, so I don't understand what the problem is! I def don't want to eat anything since I'll be going to bed in a few minutes. I don't want the food to sit heavily in my stomach. And, if I eat now, I'll be starving in the morning.
Oh, now see, if I go to bed hungry, I wake up famished.... but I usually have to eat something, even small cuz of my meds!
Stopping by to say Hello, Michele sent me!
I don't tyhink I've experienced waking up starving after eating quite late at night..Hmmmm
I'm here from Michele tonight, and happy to be here, I might add.
A Poptart sounds like a reasonably light sugary snack before bedtime. Go for it!
I dunno, but dang it I'm hungry now, too.
Be careful with Pop Tarts. They can be unpredictable and hostile.
Michele sent me back again!! HA HA! That's okay...I actually ate a late dinner tonight and am STILL full! I've never eaten a pop tart in my life....If it isn't chocolate, it's a vegetable, to me!
I have the same problem. It's weird. For me, it has to do with my blood sugar spikes and dips, because of my insulin resistance.
I hope you have slept well and woke up happy and satisfied :-)
This just in... Chocolate Pop Tarts!!!
I frequently get hungry around that time. I usually just eat enough to make the hungry pains go away.
Thanks for stopping by everyone! Yeah for poptarts!!!
Btw, I had about 6 hours of wonderful sleep Jen!
Name 5 simple pleasures that you like most, then pick 5 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used .
Ooh, those are ALL nice!
I have the world's straightest hair, though, so I'll give you some of my easy combing, if you give me some of your texture. Deal?
Hope tomorrow's a sleep in day for you!
Nice list. Simple pleasures are always the best.
Thanks for coming by earlier.
1. Vietnamese coffee.
2. My home delivery newspaper
3. Never needing an alarm clock.
4. Working in my home.
5. The roaring fire in my woodstove.
M sent me..
Sue
1. Drawing or Doodling
2. Cognac
3. Playing hockey at 6am on Sundays
4. Making Creme Brulee
5. Having a 'family pile' wrestling session with the wife and two boys =p
Her via Michele - Nice to meet you.
Those pleasures sound just right.
For me:
1: Breakfast in bed.
2: Watching a favourite DVD
3: Blogging
4: My birthday
5: Cheese on toast
a hot pot of tea, a newspaper and no one at home for the morning, doesn't get much better than that for me.
i'm off to wish someone at happy birthday;)
I want straight hair Jen!!! I have to go through 30 min with a straightening iron to get it all flat...so it's a deal
Thanks Courtney!
I love working in my home as well Sue.
Thanks for stoppin by Prego
I just watched my fav dvd tonight Capt!
Hmmmm, hot tea...that sounds great right now BSTS! And thanks for visiting Lo!!!
If Nexxus goes on sale Shelli, I'll def have to try it.
Oh I love your simple pleasures Tania! I love reading a good book while wearing some comfy shoes and having my cat cuddles up to me! It's the best!

HI! I like your list. Those orange cinnamon rolls sound good. Do you have the recipe.
Your cat sounds fun.
Sounds like you've got a wild and crazy time coming up with all the kids!
It's just the orange Pillsbury rolls...I just love them!!!
Btw, thanks for stopping by!
i'm doing my christmas baking, not next week, but the week after that. i'm going to try and deal with the fudge issue next week, hmmmmmmmm.
maybe mom would make a special batch for you to take home and bake christmas morning at your house?
i'm playing this week too.!
I don't think I'd be able to come up with thirteen things every Thursday! You did good! Isn't Christmas prep fun?
I L O V E 7 layer bars!
I stole this from Jemmers, who stole it from Jootastic, who stole it from Amy and Tara, who I'm sure stole it from someone else!!!
What a great memory post! Gets me right in the mood for Christmas! Oh, and I love that you put C-mas instead of X-mas!!!
I hate seeing x-mas MC!!! I don't understand why Christmas would be shortened like that in the first place! I always use C-mas.
Nope, not a good idea PJ!
Awww, poor left out Armaedes. I should feel bad for you...but I don't. HA!
Rant on
So, he steals your computer time and then doesn't even bother to update his blog?! What a rip off!
your hubby has a blog???
i think you should share the computer time, he can have some of your time during the same, and you can have some of his time during the night, seems fair to me.
As long as I can have the majority of the evening time BSTS...heehee!!!
That sucks. He needs to learn to share or get his own computer.
He does have a laptop... and an old wireless router (that can be used as a wired one)... no reason that the computer time cannot be shared.
He is getting a new computer for C-mas War Eagle...that way we will each have our own.
But who would use it Guru? Would I have to since G was on the computer first (even though I called dibs...heehee) or would he need to use the laptop since I use the computer every night at the same time?
My husband has convinced me to ditch the dial up after we get settled in the new place. I hope he doesn't take over the computer too!
you might as well face it husbands don't have the ability to remember what their spouses scedules are. They have problems remembering their own.
:)
With your Aunt on her way, I'd better put out some blankets and a pillow on the basement couch.
I'll need SOMEwhere to sleep.
I know Leslie!
Me too OGO! Guard the computer with your life!!!
Amen Day!
I think we are trying to work something out Texas.
Maybe if I give him chica 3 times a day Armaedes, he would be too tired to get on the computer! Thanks for the advice!!!
You had better believe it G.
Tell me about it Becky! It feels like my day isn't complete without being online. Is that sad?
Okay, I just wrote out a nice post and BAM...I get an error message (if only I had a hubby who could fix the computer...oh wait, I do!). There goes all my work and I'm just too tired to re-write it tonight. I've had a long day of organizing and shopping for the new place and all I want to do now is go to bed.
Oh man! That has happened to me too many times. I finally decided to highlight and control 'c' every five mins. It has saved me numerous times!
That sucks! I hate it when that happens!
dude, i totally feel your pain.
i want to try the new blogger tool for Word. you can publish staight from Word, that way you will never lose your work.
always when it is an intense post!
Going to bed is probably the right course of action
that's only ever happened to me once and i too was a little "upset"
OMG, armaedes. That is some funny, funny crap.
Do you have a job in Data Security? Because that is an awesome redundancy plan.
It wasn't really a long post MC, and I was about to post it when the computer shut down! What a pain!
Me too TC!
Thanks for the advice Armaedes! I will put it to good use next time I try to post something.
Oh, a word blogger tool sounds neato Bag!
I should try it too Texas.
Don't I know it Day!
Ahhh, bed Capt! I love my sleeping time.
I never get upset BSTS...heehee!
Gotta love Armades Guru!!!
Last night my hubby and I went to his works annual Christmas party. We try to get to it every year to enjoy all the free food! Anyway, I had (as usual) a hard time deciding what to wear. We would be seeing all his work buddies and their wives, so I had to look my best. The invite said semi-formal to business casual, so I dressed in my sexy brown slacks (which I love!) and a brown shirt that had a nice print and shows off my arms and cleavage (I thought about putting on a cruise dress, but I thought it would be too dressy). I kept my hair down, and even straitened it to look my best. Then I put on some of my mom's bling-bling to look even more dressy.
I am sure you looked wonderful. I know that some of these business parties can get pretty fancy. I remember the last one I went to was really nice and really dressy.
we went to my husband's corporate party last night and some women there have spent a fortune on their outfit. not me, i bought new earrings, that was it.
This is why I hate going to these parties. It isn't expensive enough just to cover Christmas itself, there has to be office party bling and getups. But WHY, oh WHY didn't you dance? My hub doesn't fast dance but does for slow songs. I'd be out there dancing in my own little party bubble! LOVE Choc covered strawberries, they are the best! Glad you had a good time!
Last night my hubby and I were able to take our son to the circus ( since we found a few great, and cheap, seats online...it was just about as much as a trip to the movies)! Both my son and my hubby had such a great time since neither one had ever been to the circus before! It was my second trip, with my first being over 15 years ago. So, all three of us had a wonderful time watching the performances and the animals. We were able to make it to the pre-show where we saw the workers and animals up close and personal. I also got to pet one of the elephants (who later painted a picture for everyone).
I went to the circus like 9 or 10 years ago and had a pretty good time.
I am a big fan of all of the acrobatic stuff.
we do the circus every year during the summer, the only one that still wants to go is our youngest, but we've been going ever since i can remember.
The circus is so much fun. I would love to take Little Princess to one some day if one comes near here.
Sounds like a wonderful time was had by all!! I went to the circus about 36 years ago. I do not remember much about it. Would love to take the grandkids!!!
Ahhh, it feels so good to be back online. Thanks everyone for your prayers, support, and comments (and I want to say a special thank you to Guru who guest posted for me!) !!! I wasn't able to read your comments till late yesterday, but I really appreciate them and all of you! You have no idea how much I missed reading your blogs! And being online is a release for me. I am so relaxed when I can sit down and be connected to the web. But, I have so much to catch up on! Since most of my readers post everyday, I will def be reading all weekend (well, when I'm not unpacking that is!).
Welcome back, Trin! It is good to have you here. I have been off for three days myself, due to broadband failure.
You did heavy lifting... that was a lot of pizza you brought home!!!
welcome back, glad to hear the move went well and you found some good garlic bread.
Lucky! You're all done and I am about to go through it!!
I'm glad it all went smoothly for you!
Congrats and good luck on the move.
Glad you're back! I still have to decorate for Christmas but do not have the excuse you do!

Happy New Year!
I'd pass on the midget tossing, it sounds none too PC and it seems like it would hurt your back...

January 01, 2006 12:32 PM
Perhaps the octopus can help in the midget tossing?
Have a good New Year.
January 01, 2006 12:40 PM
Well those are fun!! LOL. That gummy bear one I could get behind. I have a feeling it would interfer with my other resolutions. LOL.
January 01, 2006 12:57 PM
Thanks! I was having trouble making resolutions! You've solved that problem for me. Now I know that my resolutions are to:
1) Get a pet wallaby
2) Eat less tuna
3) Travel to India
4) Study time travel
5) Get in shape with pilates
#'s 2 and 5 seem the most doable. I'm already paring the list down.
Good luck with your resolutons!
January 01, 2006 4:35 PM
